Folk art- One of a kind hand carved loon on northern Michigan birch by artist Steve Kirkpatrick. The piece measures approximately 7.5" tall by 21" wide.
About the artist- Steve's multimedia sculptures are carved from a variety of woods and feature the innovative use stains in combination with acrylics. Some contain reclaimed wood and others may feature Lake Michigan drift wood. Additionally, a variety of metals are used to bring personality to each piece. Steve is a 3rd generation wood carver and hails from Edwardsburg, MI.
